The ‘Other’ Cobra
Before my current Dodge Magnum, my daily driver was a 2001 Ford Mustang Cobra. ?I loved that car … or at least the engine. ?The interior was a roadshow of plastic trim, but switch off the traction control and plant the right foot was a sure way to set a grin. ?Especially with the after marker Borla Stinger cat-back exhaust which could set off car alarms at 30′.
When it became too loud to commute in, I sold it for the more sensible Magnum. ?Do I regret it? ?Sometimes … but the Cobra in the garage which I bought with the sale of this ‘pretender’ will be a far better replacement.
