Dashboard
Back into ‘build’ mode, next up was to work on the dashboard. ?Here clamped into place on the frame to get the position correct before drilling.
Drilled and gauges put in for trial fit.
This is the standard layout. ?The left most gauge is largely obscured (more so in this angle than when seated). ?When racing, the most important gauge was the rev counter (tachometer). ?For road use, I think the speedo is likely more important to see clearly, so I’ll switch them around.
Other gauges – oil pressure, voltage, clock, water temperature, and fuel.
All hooked up and working – back lit when the light switch is activated (the chrome knob under the fuel gauge).
