Break out the thumbscrews
I started on the foot box access panel months ago and always knew how I wanted to attach it to the box. ?I spent hours pawing over Amazon search results looking for just that one thumb screw – finally found it. ?I had to buy a pack of 5, but there was no going back on this one.
Cut a small bracket from the same scrap that the cover was cut from, riveted in place, with a rivnut (threaded insert) to screw the thumb screw into. ?Very happy with how it turned out – probably way too many hours for such a small item but, as the saying goes, it’s all in the detail.
